Cool Off is a unique experience where Kids&Us students from all over the world enjoy a summer camp and continue learning English throughout the holidays, but in a completely different environment to what they are used to.
Who can go to Cool Off?
Students born between 2009 and 2015.
What are the facilities like?
Cool Off lodges are surrounded by nature. Furthermore, they are fully equipped and have open spaces ideal for playing and doing sport.
How long do they last?
7 days and 6 nights, from Sunday to Saturday.
How big are the groups?
There are no more than 10 students per group and they are all close in age.
How do they learn English?
For the whole week, our team of camp leaders only use English to communicate. Additionally, as per the Kids&Us method, plenty of songs are used during their daily routines (meals, for example) or activities.
Each year Cool Off takes us around the world to learn about new cultures, that way the students immerse themselves in the English language and a new culture too. This year the students will journey to Thailand, full of beautiful landscapes and fantastic animals. What’s more, they will meet the kind and cheerful people who live there.
Throughout the week, each group will live endless adventures with one objective: discovering everything this wonderful culture has to offer. To gain firsthand experience, the children will have to dedicate all their energy and work as a team to complete the challenges they will be tasked to complete: an adventure through the forests in Thailand, nighttime games, water challenges, traditional sports such as Sepak Takraw... By the end of the week, they’ll be authentic Thai experts!
We never stop at Cool Off camps. From the moment we get up until we go to sleep, we do all kinds of activities: excursions, sport, traditional games, songs, dances... and every day we take a dip in the pool! We have a lot of surprises in store:
We use our very own Kids&Us Natural English method, of course!
We continue to develop language skills thanks to our equipment and material specially designed for Cool Off camps. Every day, the children use their travel notebooks and spend an hour improving their English in a more individualised way with the camp leader. Furthermore, by sharing their living space 24/7, the children are exposed to natural English and can work on typical everyday expressions.
We have a team made up of young people, with experience and training in the Kids&Us world, involved in the project and, most importantly, with a clear vocation for teaching. They all have a level of English equivalent to the Proficiency.
Allow us to present our camp directors. These are the people that bring Cool Off to life with all the care and dedication in the world. They create the games and activities and even provide the personalised attention to the participants in the lodges.

By age and English level of each child. In addition, whenever possible, we will take into account whether they have friends with whom they would like to share the experience.
The camp leaders can only speak English, and, in fact, the children do not know if they speak or understand another language. However, the director will be the person of reference, they can speak Catalan or Spanish, and will act as an intermediary when necessary.
We take the participant to the doctor and call their family or legal guardians to inform them of the situation.
