English summer camps - Kids&Us Cool Off

Welcome to the cool off!

The Cool Off experience is a fantastic opportunity to take English beyond the classroom. In an environment surrounded by nature, our students will enjoy a week of linguistic immersion where not only will they learn English, but they will also learn about different cultures from around the world, they will grow on a personal level, and they will make new friends.

The Cool Off values

At Kids&Us, we always aim to offer the best language learning experience, but we also want to encourage the acquisition of values such as respect, tolerance, teamwork and independence. We have an exceptional team with experience in the world of Kids&Us and in the world of recreational activities, which allows us to create unique camps.

Our method

During the seven days and six nights of the camps, the participants use English as the vehicular language to speak with all the members of the team. Following the Kids&Us method, we encourage them to learn structures that help them to communicate in English comfortably in their daily lives; we also work on grammar and vocabulary adapted to their level in our Travel Guides, exclusive Cool Off notebooks.

Learn by playing and having fun

Games, songs and dances are a must at Kids&Us camps! We sing for breakfast, lunch or dinner, to go to the shower, or when we go on a trip. All in English! What's more, at the end of the week, all the participants will have learnt songs and dances related to the theme so that the families can watch them live during the farewell party.

Themes and activities

There’s no resting at the Cool Off! From the moment we wake up until we go back to sleep, we do all sorts of activities, from traditional games and sports of the chosen culture to trips. Additionally, we take a plunge every day, whether that’s in the pool or natural waters!

And that’s not all! Some of the most highly anticipated activities are:

Staff Performance: our favourite camp leaders become the stars of a fantastic story.
Night Out: the perfect opportunity to watch the stars with our friends while camping outdoors.
Disco Night: everyone wears their finest clothes to celebrate the last night of the camps by dancing to our favourite songs.

The Cool Off team

The team of camp leaders and management is made up of young and dynamic people with a clear vocation for teaching.

The camp leaders

The Cool Off camp leaders are people deeply committed to the project, who enjoy sharing their enthusiasm for playing and learning with the participants. Their previous experience in the world of leisure and with specific training for Cool Off, they bring to life our ambition for children to live a unique and unforgettable experience in our camps.

Managment

The Cool Off management team is a key part of the project. It is made up of people with extensive experience in the Kids&Us method, with training in the world of leisure activities and who are passionately committed to the project. The camp management is responsible for the safety of the children; at the same time, they ensure that the day-to-day running of the camps is well organised and that the activities created specifically for each edition of Cool Off are implemented correctly.

Finally, we would like to introduce you to Frankie and Vanessa, the faces of the Cool Off organisation. Year after year, they are in charge of shaping the project: they create the activities, find trips and workshops, and manage the personalised registration process.
